worriedinaz - how can i get in touch with you? I tried the PM and it said no such user exists. This is my first time on this site and I may not be doing something right. We have 2 couples in SC who just discovered this blog and are looking to exit RMG asap. Any advice you can offer is appreciated. Thanks

I talked to an attorney about a collection agency I was having problems with. He faxed a letter asking them to stop calling me, my family, and my employer. They are to deal directly with my attorney and we will work out a payment plan. The collection agency does not like this, but the attorney is working for me. (I am paying him through a legal plan.)

Deafy Man,
Is your attorney still Mike Gerity? Is he at the same address and number? Can we contact him directly or through you? Will he respond to our questions?

I am in Michigan and am thinking about leaving mmg/ risk management because they haven't done what they promised. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do. Unfortunately I don't have any money and so this could get very messy for me. But, Risk Management has 1000s of my dollars.

Thanks

To kayedell,

Get out now. MMG/RMP will never do what they promised, and you will probably not get your money back. Read this entire forum if you can from page 1 and listen to all the stories from people who have been scammed by this so call company. The more you read the more you will to strangle Hyla Stanton so call president of MMG/RMP. She has gotten thousands of dollars from many people. Most people found out too late about this scam company, Some of them have lost a lot of money and may not ever recover it. I suggest you get out as soon as possible. Hyla and her band of thieves are moving to Texas to scam more people out of their money. CANCEL ASAP!

Go to your bank today to stop the withdrawls, if they won't stop them change accounts. Quit feeding them, then read everything and do as we have done

Has anyone contacted the FBI? Perhaps what the Stantons are doing could be considered wire fraud over state lines or even an ongoing criminal enterprise over state lines. It appears they have gone past "poor business practices" as they continue to take automatic withdrawals with no intention of providing the contacted service. There may be enough "duck and cover" posturing by the Stantons to show criminal intent.

It's sad that people need to even ask about staying with or getting out of the program... read this ENTIRE forum... yes, it's long but worth it, and you will see that they are a complete scam company. And don't expect to get all your money back.... they withhold bs fees.

Copied from the FBI's website:

Internet crime is defined as any illegal activity involving one or more components of the Internet, such as websites, chat rooms, and/or email. Internet crime involves the use of the Internet to communicate false or fraudulent representations to consumers. These crimes may include, but are not limited to, advance-fee schemes, non-delivery of goods or services, computer hacking, or employment/business opportunity schemes.

Think we should make a go of it guys?

Everyone,
Please send copies of everything you have sent to the FTC to the FBI. Follow the instructions on their web site. Also, call or visit your local FBI office. Thanks.

To all that are asking what to do about cancelling, do what we had to do, i closed my bank account so they could not take any more out of my account, i filed a complaint with the better business bureau, federal trade commission, arizona attorney general, arizona banking commission, my state senate, my state tax department, nevada better business bureau, also make a complaint to the texas better bureau, get out nowwwww please read what we all have gone through with these people, a lot of us including me had to file bankrupcy on the accounts that were put with mmg/rmp. Lost our good credit, paid at least a thousand to file the bankrupcy depending on what state you are in, lost part of the refund that we did get back from them , so no they won't do what they say that they will do, if they haven't for all of us please think twice that they will honor their contract with any of you, we all filed with the ftc and i am sure they will take action if enough complaints come through, stop sending them money now, all of you are just feeding their scam and letting them take you too.

Deafy, I'm here if your attorney needs the inside scoop on the Stantons. I did file an online FBI complaint on the Stantons but I think I may be the only one. I would think that dropping by the FBI office of your state may get more results.

We all know they are going to Texas, in fact they are in Texas right now, lets try and save some new victims from the problems that are occurring now, everyone please write the Dallas Texas BBB and lodge your complaint. Hopefully someone reads it and doesnt work their system. Lets count the complaints and keep them coming, I sent mine in today

JUST READ THIS FORUM... yes, you will have to do some work and research but we all have had too... I actually read this entire forum and took notes from numerous pages.... I have a list of States involved... many and that's how I found out all the email addresses for the Stantons.

This is what I sent today to Hyla....who by the way told me that I would have a date of refund last Thursday. Please read below....

I've been more than patient with your company. I'm now starting to get phone calls from my creditors that your company was supposed to be "settling" with. Also, in the meantime, I've had to hire an attorney to file bankruptcy due to your company not doing what was promised to me.

The least you could do would be to give myself & several others the decency of refunding our money.

We, as customers of yours, were expected to have our payments to you "on time" each month. Why is it taking so long for your company to refund our money. Why can't your company be "on time" with the refunds?

If it's in a 'trust' account & the monies were NEVER paid to any creditors, the money SHOULD be there to pay us back.

To top it all off, we can no longer contact anyone there via a telephone!

It's now Tuesday....Hyla, you told me on Thursday that I would have a date by that afternoon. No date yet!

Has anyone received a refund in the last week? Hyla told me last week she would check to see where I was on the list. She also said that refunds are starting to go out and she would get back to me, which of course was lie. I have sent her an e-mail with no response. I hope everyone continues to e-mail and call her everyday if possible until we all get our money.

240dl...Have you lost any money to Risk Management?

I am going to stand up for the guest who is upset about not getting his/her money. I understand we want to "slam" Risk Management and make them pay for what they have done to all of us, but at the same time, many of us are out thousands of dollars and have had to file bankruptcy. Not a fun situation. I would like to see the Stanton's pay for what they have done, but I would also like to see my money that I gave them. And I will continue to e-mail, phone and post on this forum until I see some kind of result, whether it be my money or the Stanton's paying for what they have done or are still doing.

I understand that everyone is entitled to an opinion but please don't bash anyone on this forum for his/her opinion. We all have had some kind of misfortune due to this company. Can't we all be nice to each other?

This is the response I received today from Hyla....
Let's see what happens.

Amy,

I am out of the office, and will not be reading any wk or personal email for a few days. I got online and saw your email, sorry about the delay. I have a family issue that is in need of my attention, and I will call the staff, and see what I can do to get this issued this week.

Hyla

Don't hold your breath Amy F.... she would write to me and then stopped responding for more than 2 months and then she finally wrote back saying her computer was down... for that long? She is a total bull sh...er. Keep emailing over and over again until you get your money... That is how I did it and finally got my $4950 that was in my trust. I am still pissed about not getting my set up and retainer fees.

I agree with 240. There is nothing to be gained by withholding information and making newcomers 'earn their stripes'. I am ashamed to say how much I am exposed financially here. I have retained an attorney but would still appreciate any and all info. Thanks for your help Worried One!

I have tried several times to emaily Hyla and the finance department and now i am getting the emails back saying that they cant be delivered. Can someone update me on a current email please? She might have gotten so tired of my mail that she has blocked my emails. Well...this Friday is her 10 days that I have given her to give me an answer for my refund. It will be 8 months since my cancellation and I have given her 10 working days and then if no answer...well the next letter will be from my attorney!

I added a response a couple of months ago about RMP and MMG, now have cancelled the contract with them and saw a lawyer. I have just filed bankruptcy due to this scam of a company. The lawyer stated he couldn't believe how much I tried to get this debt settled but RMP did nothing on my behalf except take my money. He also stated that when they assign a trustee to the chapter 7 case, the trustee will get my money back from RMP.

I need to know if anyone has filed a class action suit against this terrible company??
Thanks Mary Quincy, MA
