I was reading concerns from people dealing with the named group above and I am also experiencing the same problems has anyone received legal advice as to what is next?

We really want to return money that we had to fight for and wait so long for and then not know whether or not we would get our full refund. Smart A$$ response from them if you ask me

What do you think they would do if a group of us all showed up in Texas?

Im still waiting (shocking I know) to hear back from them on a few issues. I do belive that what comes around goes around and while that belief does nothing to get my money back, I just know that she is going to get hers someday and it will be worse due to the pain and suffering she has caused all of us.

KristieC,

You are from Baltimore, Maryland. I am also from there and have been waiting for my refund from MMG/RMP for approximately 6 months. Last week I e-mailed Hyla and the Finance Department several days and finally received a response from the Customer Service Department saying that my refund has not been finalized, the same message I was getting from the Finance Department. That was the first response I had gotten from anyone at MMG/RMP since December 2005. I am going to e-mail them everyday every chance I get until I get my money back from them.

Has anyone else received any more of there refunds? Has anyone hired a lawyer? I talked to one and today I sent my final letter to MMG. Next time it will be from a lawyer and maybe that will get them moving!

When I first started with them they settled 4 of my accounts within the first year or so. For the past 2 they haven't done a thing but supposedly send out some letters. I need help as well.

did anyone ever notice that their supposed sent out "settlement offers" are all sent out on the same day for all clients? I think this is the case and they are perhaps just saying that they have sent out offers. I hate this company. They have caused me so many problems in the past year. I want out! Has anyone had success in getting a refund without a lawyer?

For everyone who has received a refund from MMG, did you have to file bankruptcy?

Alot of you are asking the same questions that I and many others have answered... read this entire forum! It is worth it to find out as much info that you can. I hired an 2 attorneys... the first one was treating me like the Stantons so I dropped him and the other I just had a consultation with. I finally received my refund in late Dec. 05 (this did not have the $299 set-up fee or the $400 in retainer fees) but it did include the $250 cancellation fee, yes I got that back. I did not claim bankrupcy but in Jan 06 I contacted all the creditors and negotiated settlements with them... I settled over $14,000 worth of debt for only $5,000 (the amount I got back from RMP). If I can do this all of you can as well.... but yes, it is hard and frustrating and we should have never had to go through this to begin with. I hop ethis answers some questions.

i settled with all of my creditors also. in speaking with them, not one of them (4 in total) ever received a settlement offer from rmp, even though my account on the website stated they had sent out settlement offers! All rmp was doing was changing the dates to make it look as if settlement offers were going out to the creditors when in reality they weren't sending sh**!

I got three emails from Hyla today. Did anyone else?

This email is to notify you that you have been placed on a weekly
remittance schedule, and all funds should be delivered to you by no later
than the end of April.

then

Current Settlement Account Balance: $2,903.11
Ck #2 was issued yesterday.

then

Please cease the harrassment, as we will start to implement a charge
against your account for the mail handling and repeat emails. Your funds
are being processed on a weekly basis, otherwise.
Have a great Day.

Mind you, that better be the amount in my account AFTER that second check was cut or we are talking about a $1500 difference.

And apprently Hyla is sending from an email address that is not receiving emails hyla(at)mmgfinance.com so you can't even respond to her.

Okay, I believe in fair is fair. Hyla just responded to me, again, for my question concerning the amount stated, as above, is the amount in total or amount after the second check has been cut. She states...

Yes, sir you are correct. Please make sure you post that on your web blog,
and make the appropriate letters to the angencies you have written to. I
will want to see a copy of the letter of satisfaction upon remittance of
your last payment. I feel that is MORE than fair considering what you have
done.
Hyla

If this is the case then all is well. Now I have been down this road before with her mind you, so I will be the first to write what has happened. Good or bad. But for now this is a positive step, wouldn't you agree?

I was promised mine by hyla three months ago. At first she told me mine was approved by the finance department and that she would see to it that I would get my full refund back. However, after reading this website she changed her mind and told me I would only get it if I stopped posting to this website. I told her I would stop posting if she would send me my money but if she didn't I would continue to post on here. Of course, I never herd from her again. I've been waiting over one year for my money, it's sad enough they never do what they say, but to make you feel like your the bad person is the ultimate pathetic thing anyone can do. It is our money and always has been. We came to them for help and they didn't do what they promised.

What exactly did you have to do to get your money back. It was 8 months since we cancelled with MMG and we can't even get a response. I sent a certified letter yesterday asking again. The next letter will come from my attorney. I kinda thought that it was just us that got screwed but after finding this site I have found out that they not only ruined our credit and lives but yours as well...how sad that is.

In the beginning of the refund process Hyla asked me to speak positive once I got my refund. I was so open to that. It never happened though. I guess we're up to round two. If this happens, I will speak positive. Why lie when the truth is so much more strange?

Hi everybody! I`m back for just a short time. A few of you been trying to email me but my original email is discontinued for now. I cancelled Comcast and now Verizon messed up my service order to have broadband connected to my house. I`ll have to wait until March 31st(Friday) for the connection to be up and running. Spring break is over so I`m getting preoccupied again. Continue the fight.

I too received a reply from Hyla, but not to the tune I wanted to hear. She said she had received my many e-mails and would look into initiating my refund. Likely story. I guess I'll wait a little longer.

I too received an e-mail from Hyla today. I'm sure it's just another lie. I guess she thinks if she responds at least once in awhile this will satisfy some of us, well it doesn't. Maybe she is getting heat from the FTC and others about the SCAM company Miracle Management Group aka Risk Management Partners. In the e-mail I received she states refunds are being processed and that she is not in charge of refunds.

The last partial refund she said she was sending - did come in the mail - and when she stated it would -I think these refunds will go out. I am stating this just from my experience from them and how they have delt w/ me. As always though - who knows.

So you all are getting your refunds in the mail instead of by UPS like they told us. If that is the case do they let you know there sending it out or does it just come in the mail? They told us it would be via UPS and they would email us a tracking number. I am just curious. It has been 8 months and 2 days since we cancelled.

My last refund was mailed out vis USPS. They gave me a date that it would arrive and it arrived on that date. This was about a month ago. I have not e-mailed them in a few weeks. She just sent me this e-mail out of the blue.

Maybe is feeling the heat from all of the agencies, The FTC and then senators and has been told to either refund the money to everyone or face legal action. Hopefully since everyone is receiving an e-mail from her they will get their refund. Sounds like everyone is getting a different message from her. I have not received an e-mail from her yet. Hope to hear or get my refund soon, its been 8 months since I have heard from the scam company.

They too forwarded my info to the ftc.... these people need to go to jail whether they give us money back or not... they have cost me over $3,000 in extra debt from when I first started and never returned my set up or retainer fees... and yes Hyla, I believe you should give me my ENTIRE investment into your company since you have cost me so much extra!
