WFNNB listing on credit report - How to deal with it

I'm not sure why Lane Bryant would send the account to a collection agency, if you have never been late on payments. You must have proof that you made your payments on time for the last 5 months and Lane Bryant did receive them. I think you should contact them and check out what exactly happened with the account. Has it been sold off to the collection agency? Or, is the collection agency is merely collecting the payments on Bryant???s behalf. If the account has been sold off, talk to the collection agency regarding this. Make sure you know how they are going to apply your payments and how much interest, fees, etc. they will charge, before making any sort of payments to the collection agency.

Had some type of computer problem while I paid my bill infull in a local Mall -store In Ohio. The bill was not documented on the register , but the check cleared the bank.
WFNNB, are still trying to get me to pay Late charges when the Bill was paid in May.
I just don't get this one.

Get a copy of the check front and back. There will be writing on the back of the check that the register at the store made. Call WFNNB and arrange to send them the copy either thru the mail or to fax it directly to someone.

my checking account has been charged $355.00. I have never bought anything form this source. This is a fraudulent withdrawal. I want my money back!! I've tried calling all the numbers i can find without any results. If the is from reed's jewelers or for goodies, i have bought anything from these places. I'me going to call the police now!!!!

I just received my credit report and it shows an open acct for WFNNB/THE AVENUE, mailing is
P O Box 2974, Shawnee, KS 66201
It states it is a revolving card with a zero balance and has been in effect since 12/1/1989

I live in the state of Washington, I do not have an account number so I do not know how to get this account closed and off my credit report. I don't even know what "THE AVENUE" is. Can you help me please?

The debt seems to be well past the SOL period. It should have dropped from your credit report by now. Anyway, you can contact WFNNB regarding this issue. You can contact them and close the account.

I can't remember the names of all the companies, but if you have a credit card with Catherine's, Lane Bryant or Brylane, it is from them. I just saw it on my checking account and it is a "pending" payment that I sent in. I have trouble with them all the time.

They are elusive and make charges to your account that are not yours. Visit http://www.ripoffreport.com/FileReport.aspx and report them. I have been dealing with them under different accounts unaware that it was them.
