Midland Credit Management

We received a letter for Midland Credit Management(MCM) for a Citibank card, the letter states that we failed to meet the payment arrangements. I would like to know the proper way to handle this situation. Please advise.

We did make a payment arrangement with them but we couldn't afford it and I called to change the amount and they said no. It is our debt but per our credit report it has been charged off by the company.

Ok, so I spoke with MCM and they will no longer accept any payments unless the account is paid in full. I advised them that we can't do that and offered $50 per month. They said we can send that in but it may not stop any legal proceedings. What do you recommend?

Thanks! I ended up calling for a supervisor and was able to reinstate my previous payment arrangement and should be fine as long as I stick with it as agreed.
