Has anyone tried this technique for a personal loan?


It looks like a good way to reduce high-interest CC debt. I wonder what the approval rate is.

Lending Club requires a 660 score and Prosper requires a 640 score. The APRs though, are based on other criteria such as your debt-to-income ratio and the number of credit lines outstanding. The highest-graded borrowers could get a loan for under 7%, though APRs could run up to over 30% for the most risky profiles.
