I had a loan with Prosper which is a peer to peer lending community. The experience was great. Just go to their website and there are instructions on how to join and how to apply for a loan. Not hard at all.

Lending Club requires a 660 score and Prosper requires a 640 score. The APRs though, are based on other criteria such as your debt-to-income ratio and the number of credit lines outstanding. The highest-graded borrowers could get a loan for under 7%, though APRs could run up to over 30% for the most risky profiles.
