Do a search of Town And Country Acceptance Corporation or even T&C in the search box and it will help you out some. I have a few months left with T&C (been with them for 14 months now). Your going to get a lot of people saying they do not work with them but maybe 80 to 90% of my companies did. I even had legal storefronts with T&C. I had one company that would not work with them and offered me a settlement amount if I paid them off in two months.

I'm working with Town And Country Acceptance Corporation now too. It's my understanding they specialize in pdls.

I worked with Town And Country Acceptance Corporation and finished out the contract. I had some major problems at first getting the T & C people to contact the payday loan companies and to stop the fees from accruing. They would say they sent letters, but according to the payday loan companies, they never received anything. After about four months from the initial contract, this problem was resolved, and the payments I made to T & C started paying down the payday loan balances. But watch out for Apple Payday loans. They contacted me about halfway through the contract stating they never agreed to anything. T & C contacted them and was able to sort things out, but after another $300 was added as fees to the payday loan with Apple.
After T & C says everything is ok, and they have contracted with the payday loan companies, follow up on your end with the payday loan companies also, just to make sure. I was eventually able to get out of debt with the payday loan companies through T & C.
Best of luck.

I was just told by Town and Country after dealing with them for 10 months that they are no longer doing business in Kansas. They did help pay off one pdl, but I still have three left. They told me to just send them money orders on my own and they will accept them. It kind of sucks because I just happened to call in and check on my account and they gave me the bad news. Now what am I suppose to do?

i have a question the loan on my truck was secure with a credit union and i put them on town and country they called the credit union and they refused to allow them to pay my bill because they said its secure.even if a loan is secure can they deny my method of payment even when its town and country

do not use t&c!!!!!!!!! There is no other number available except the 1-205-823-4930 so if you have any problems there is no one who will speak with you out side of a supervisor who will ask you to leave a message for a manager and then you NEVER get a returned call!!They are very poor at representing their customers!! I have had a customers debt in my office since december of 2009, at which time I received a letter offering a monthly payment from T&C toward the customers debt. Since then we have been waiting for the small payment to arrive, but have recieved ZERO dollars ! We have been sending a fax with an approval for he request for the payments. We have not gotten a response as of yet! We have also made daily calls requesting a returned call on this customer. we recieved one returned call after business hours like two weeks ago! the message said, hello we are returning a call regarding XXXX XXXXXX, please contact us back at..... the message did not include a date on when we will recieve a payment(or let us know maybe the customer stopped working with them) and of course when we called them back the next day we could only leave another message!!!! Today i acted like i was a customer and asked to speak to a manager, a lady got on and asked me the customers name then transfered me to the same voice mail box to leave ANOTHER message without saying one word to me before transfering me!!! I then called back and asked for a manager again, i was told i was speaking to a supervisor, i asked for her boss she said this was the highest i would get at this time. i then said i needed a number to leave the boss a message, and she said i can give them the message, and would not transfer me or provide a number. when you google T&c only one number is available. due to this on going problem of no returned calls about this customer, or returned faxes. i regret to say this client will be sent to our legal dept. and she will be garnished for the amount owed as well as legal fees! im sure this customer will be very upset that eventhough they have given this company money, they are still unpaid in our office more then two months later with so much as even one small pament!

I am thinking about using T&C. I have 4 PDLs and need help paying them off. The interest rates are astonishing and these pllaces are bleeding me. Is T&C the best company to help me out with this situation. I see all the reviews and they are mixed and some are not so good. Please advise if I should use T&C or just move on and find some other way to get these paid off. Thanks. Steve C

Are these payday loans or personal loans, and are they located on the base?
By the sound of it I would guess they are installment type of loans because usually a payday loan would need to be paid in full on your next payday. Anyway, if they are small personal loans I would go in and ask to speak to the manager, I would explain that you are enduring a hardship and need to find out if they offer an extended payment plan or a hardship plan.
I have read pro's and cons about T&C, another one you might look into is Langhorn, you can research them on this site by typing them into the search box located in the upper right hand corner of this forum.

I have been working w/T&C since 2004. After taking awhile to get everything in hand, we got off to a good start. Only a couple of 'rocky' spots along the way, having to do mainly with payments not reaching one creditor in time. But, that issue was quickly cleared up, and I will soon complete my payoff of around $30K. They worked very well with me, provided me with monthly statements as I always requested, and by checking my monthly creditors' statements, I've been able to see how the payments were made. Overall, I've been satisfied.
I got a yellow card too.

I too received a yellow card in the mail. On the phone they sounded very professional. But they do that to rake you in. They got a B- rating from BBB(Better Business Bureau). But I can still use some more insight.

I am a litigation manager for a pay day loan company. we do not and will not work with debt consolidation companies. these companies tell you everything you want to hear to get you signed up. the best thing you can do when considering this type of solution and to call each company you owe the debt to and ask them if they work with debt consol. Most companies ours included will not work with them but we will work directly with the client to set up a comfortable payment plan and resolve the balance. no need to pay a middle man all it takes is a phone call and most defaults can be resolved. hope this helps

Pay day loan companies arent bleeding you. you bled yourself by getting in over your head and borrowing money from more then one lender knowing you couyldnt pay it back. you should call each company you owe and work out payment plans. these companies will work with people who cant pay just to resolve the debt. payday loan companies dont like to work with debt consolidation and most refuse. if your getting bled to death be responsilbe call the lenders tell them your in over your head and cant afford to pay the fee and balance all at once and need payment plans. its simple. next time dont go out and take money from all over the place when clearly you know the fees and interest is not going to be financial managable for you.

Keeping It Real Good The Best Advice
For all people with credit issues. Just deal with the creditor themselves. If it goes to collection. Don't be afraid of speaking with someone. They can only report you to the credit agencies. Best advice call and make some type of arrangement. They play hard nose but bottom line they want the money. Sometimes they will cut the price in half. Haggle with them and stand firm. You will get things to go your way. I am speaking from experience. Just start paying one or two bills off a month. Pay off your credit cards or whatever you have on your credit. Once its paid then report to the credit agencies or dispute it by saying you paid in full. Don't pay someone else to do something you can do for yourself. The creditors will keep calling but answer the phone and make your demands. Once an agreement is made stick to it or dont answer the phone until you can pay something. Once it reported on your credit their is nothing else they can do but harass you. Don't be afraid of them. They like to intimidate people. But, the rules are different if it involves a vehicle or property because it can be repossessed. But always call and make an arrangement. Don't give up! I am speaking from experience. I've seen my share of hard times. Hang and there and just start paying off your bills from smallest to largest.:p:wink:8-)

DO NOT USE THEM TO CONSOLIDATE ANYTHING! A DEBT consolidation company will wait for you to be in DEBT before you can use them. Prime example: If you are 30 days past due, you are not in DEBT yet. You have to be in collections with a balance of over 90 days past due in order for it to be called DEBT. They will take your money, make you pay on time, and not pay ANY of your bills until they are over 90 DAYS PAST DUE!!! DO NOT USE THEM unless you are attempting to consolidate DEBT that is over 3 to 6 months or older. THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS...Remember, you will have to pay them on time even if they have not made agreements with anyone YET!!!!

We frequently use payday loans, and yes they are difficult to get paid off. In reality most individuals would be better off closing their accts, getting a acct which is a credit card type acct they load weekly. Hire an attorney for yourself, because as a rule due to the interest rate charged by payday loans, you are usually just required to pay back the original amt borrowed not all the fees. Yes, you will be hounded incessantly, you are better off spending your cash for an attorney or filing bankruptcy.

The reason you were not given the info could have been maybe the customer requested for info to not be released. for example, they could have been going thru a divorce or something personal. Quote:
