So, I called my DMP counselor, and she said that they accepted the payment, and they didn't send it back. She said that if they continue to contact me, I should let them know, but if they continue to accept the monthly payments, it shouldn't be a problem. Any thoughts from anyone?

debt, you know this is an MTE. Do not trust them. Ignore their email. You're working with a company to handle them. Do not respond to the emails. They will try to get more money out of you. Once your final payment is made, make absolute SURE you get something in writing from them stating this account is paid in full and considered closed and that you are not to be contacted again. They are very sneaky, debt. You know this. Do not put anything past them. Just a word of warning.

Did I bring you down? I'm sorry! :( I just wanted to warn you about them! They're just snakes. Let your dmp take care of them. MTE has this habit of "going around" people and contacting you directly. This is their way of trying to get what they can out of you and ignoring/not abiding by others. I'm sorry if I brought you down or ruined your day! But, I don't want anyone to be taken advantage of!

Hey just wanted to let you know the following information that was issued by the Department of Finacial Instutition of Nebraska regarding One click Cash. They are located in this state and doing business out of this state (If you have any questions, please see my thread entitled One Click Cash and DFI of Nebraska):

Do as Goudah advises, file with the DFI of Wisconsin, which is your state and I would attach the Cease and Desist order from Nebraska to your complaint as the company claims that we are bound by the laws in the state they are physically located in and also licensed in. I would also file a complaint with the DFI of Nebraska as well. I filed my complaint with the DFI of Nebraska, my home state of Arizona, and the DFI of Nevada as their statutory agent is listed in that state. I also filed complaints with the Attorney General's office of Nebraska, my home state of Arizona and the Attorney General's office of Nevada. I also attached to my AG complaints all the information concerning my complaints with the DFIs and BBBs of the state's I listed above and continue to forward documents to the AG's office of responses from One Click Cash received through the BBBs and/or the DFI's of the states I listed above. It may be overkill but I want to make sure that I have filed complaints against this company in every state they have an address as well as my home state.

debt, don't worry about MTE turning you over to "collections". Their "collections" is in-house. It's them! If they were to turn you over to an outside collections agency, I can promise you they most likely wouldn't be licensed either. Illegal pdl/illegal collection agency. And as far as filing your complaints. Do as stated in the above posts. File with YOUR state AG. I also attached copies of cease and desist letters from other states showing that they were told no longer to loan in those states. I might be like others & did the "overkill" thing, but I wanted my state AG to see what kind of company this is. Also, if you file with YOUR state AG and they have had many complaints regarding them (which I'm sure they have), they will forward your complaint on to the state where the pdl is located. You will then receive a complaint form from that state. That's what my state AG did. They got my complaint, apparently thought it was a big enough issue, forwarded it on to the pdl state AG and they sent me the complaint form in the mail. Cool? So they're on to them once again. So file, file, file those complaints!!! :D

Wow...I was completely worried about this company. I got the same letter as the original poster. I actually tried to work out a payment plan with them (I still owe them $120.00) and they flat out said no. Now I know that they can't do anything! I will definitely file a complaint with all of the same people everyone else has, including my state of Florida. YAY! I feel much better!

buble - you need to file complaints with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG. I can't believe you haven't filed already! OMG! File! As far as your state AG complaint, there isn't a "letter". I don't know if you can file on line in your state or if you have to print the complaint form - whichever - you just fill it in and tell them the whole story. They are unlicensed/illegal. What the loan was for. How much they have debited you. The "fees" they are charging. Etc. If you've had any problems with them. Etc. Just tell them.

chris - I'm sorry. I don't understand. You have a pdl with One Click Cash? You put a stop payment on it? What else?
