Check N Go is a licensed pdl, most licensed pdls will attempt to get you to pay the loan, and if they are unsuccessful the next route for the licensed pdl is to take you to civil court to get a judgment. If you have defaulted, make payment arrangements with them and stick to it, otherwise they will probably take you to court.

By all means, if you can directly deal with the loan company, they won't send your account to collections. This will stop new worries coming from the collectors.
Sometimes, the lenders find it easier working with the consumers rather than hiring a collection agency for recovering the debt and probably, get nothing in return. So, call the lender and offer them what you can afford now. Hopefully, they will grant your proposal.

fedupinpa - I'm guessing that no one has been able to provide an experience with ChecknGo online for you, since you've asked this a couple of times. Is there some other information we can provide you with? I'm certain CheckNGo would work out some sort of payment arrangement with you if you called them. Have you done that yet?

Check n Go online settled with me for principal only. They were licenced in my state (the only internet pdl of all my loans that was in TX)so paying back what I borrowed was more than fair.
I called them
I called them and they said my only options were to pay the loan in full or they would turn it over to their legal department. God, I will pay them what i owe them, just can not do it all at once, I am hoping they would give me a payment plan I could manage, first phone call they did not seem to cooperative. any advice, what happens once it goes to legal, will they work with you then?

I had one a few years ago with Check into Cash, which is an affiliate, and when I defaulted, they did let me make payments until it was paid off.

One more ach return and we will see what checkngo online is like to deal with after a default. Doesn't seem many people have experience with them. I am calling langhorn today just to see what they think, don't know if I will sign up or not. Got to see if they deal with this one in particular.

I would work out an arrangement with them that would let you pay back your principal at an interest rate that is legal in your state. Do not let them bully you into paying an obscene amount!
Any update
Anyone have any updates on checkngo online? I am not to the point of negotiating with them yet, but should be soon. I think the last ACH to be returned was the third. Hopefully they will work with me on payments. Has anyone defaulted with them since my last visit to this forum? I am asking about the checkngo online, not the store front. thanks
check and go online
The only update I have is they signed a letter stating they will do no more business in my state which I consider a major victory!!!! KYSIDE38

I will be dealing with check n go soon but it's not on line it is a store front. But if you had called them once, I would call that number again and ask for the legal dept. Then ask them what they do with a defaulted account, ask if you would be able to set up payment arrangements. I did that for the cash store (another store front) I told them that you don't have my check yet but you will and I need to know my options before you call me and tell me I have to pay it right now and in full. They could just be bluffing because they don't want to drag out payment arrangements. I was finally contacted by The cash store legal dept. and guess what, they didn't want to accept payment arrangements and I told them oh really, well thats not what so and so said. Then they changed their tune and are now accepting 50 a week. It won't hurt to try.
