Not to worry...they are just trying to scare you into paying the money. It is very illegal for them to threaten you and their are no charges that are going to be filed against you. This is just a collection agency and they are required by law to send you something in writing once you request it. Let them know you will be reporting them to the Attorney Generals office. Tell them you know your rights and once you see something on paper then you will discuss payment options with them. Be strong and don't let them intimidate you. Also let them know that you will no longer accept calls at work, because your employer does not allow it.

Did you have any PDL's out? You may want to check your bank statements and verify if you have any transactions with either of these names on it.

Also, sometimes they don't answer the phone so if you hit 0 when the voicemail picks up...it usually takes you to a live person.
