Still Married, but seperated, filing taxes?
Shazzers - if you were LEGALLY separated as of 12/31/08, the IRS
Shazzers - if you were LEGALLY separated as of 12/31/08, the IRS considers you to be separated for the entire tax year, regardless of how long you were separated. (Had to do my taxes this way myself once.)
I'll take a look at what the IRS says about filing joint when separated and see what happens...be right back..stand by...
