any updates?

Still no information on the website about my refund so I guess I am a paper check person, I'll keep checking and let you know. My daughter was 02 and she is getting her check mailed this Friday.

What a mess this is. You get letters from the government telling you the amount and then a letter after you get your money telling you when you will get it. Makes no sense and I thought this was suppose to help the economy when really I think it will only HURT the economy.

I agree this whole mess has been nothing but confusing for everyone. I still have yet to get anything in the US mail from the IRS about my stimulus payment. I know most people got the first one a while back and I never received anything. But the website is saying i will get my money on Friday. So, I really don't think the IRS have a clue about what they're doing. They seem as confused about it as all of us are. I really don't understand what has made it so complicated. I will be glad to get mine and be done with wondering about it.

Did anyone else who was scheduled to get theirs tomorrow actually get it today? Mine according to the IRS website was going to be direct deposited on Friday the 16th but checked my bank account this morning and had a nice surprise that it was actually deposited today. Just wondered if this had happened for anyone else.

Any new updates on deposits, my last two ss# 83. I thought it was going to be direct deposit but may be paper check.

Let me know. Trying to figure this whole thing out. My ex- last two ss#73 is scheduled for May 16th mailing, why would mine not be the same?

I know that johnita and me both got ours direct deposit, yesterday and today . . .

gardnerjl is yours not showing any information yet on the irs.gov website? Mine didn't start showing my information until Monday and then it said I'd be receiving it today, but I actually did get it direct deposited yesterday. If you're receiving a paper check the schedule is much later. For the last group of SSN's it's actually July the 11th for the mailings and the website probably wouldn't be showing anything until about a week before that. At least that's the way I understand it to be that the paper checks are on a much later schedule. My last 2 digits are 97 and if I had of had to wait on a paper check it would have been July 11th before it would have been mailed.

I thought mine was going to be direct deposited b/c everyone who did theirs like mine was directly put into their bank account. When I visit the IRS website it shows nothing, no information. This is not right. Johnita, I hope I am getting a direct deposit otherwise the posting states July 4th before it will be mailed. If I have people that did theirs like me why am I always left with the wrong way of receiving things.

Totally depressed.....
