Good to see participation in this forum. I have successfully paid off debt after 2 and ½ years.

I used to participate in this forum. Good to see that there’s participation once again.
I want to share something. Last month I’ve been able to repay my debts after about 2 and 1/2 years. I wanted to pay off all my myself. I had an overwhelming credit card debt. And to make the matter worse, I was not able to save much because of some financial constraints.
However, I’m happy that I could bring my finances back in order, and I want to say that debt snowball and debt avalanche really helps if you can manage your money properly. Plan a suitable budget so that you can save a decent amount. Also, I had to plan my shopping for some days and restrict eating outs. I know it’s a bit difficult in the beginning but it becomes pretty easier when you start following a regimen - to save money.

Congrats Azbarter!!!! Great job. Hopefully, your achievements will inspire others too. Debt snowball and avalanche work well if you can lead a disciplined financial life. You have to be on the saving mode.

I am new in this forum. Based on my little experience, all that I can say is that, forum members are genuinely helpful here.

Great job!! You have proved that you can very well do it yourself. You're truly an inspiration for others.
But now, stay far away from debt. You know how to do so....

Good!!
Yes, it's a bit difficult in the initial stage. But, once you get motivated and see the results, it becomes easier to follow the budget. It also helps you to create a realistic budget as well.
