Wage Garnishment and a job overseas
My wages are currently garnished to pay for my student loan. I have ~ 6 months left and the garnishment will be paid in full.
I may be taking a job in the UK. The job is with my current employer, just a different division (so different payroll system, etc). My question is, will a garnishment still be applicable if I am living overseas and paid by the overseas division?
Can I stop the garnishment and just make payments for the last 6 months? I can't rehab my loan as it takes 9 months to do that, and it will be paid off before that.
