Rehab-6 Payments & Eligible for Title IV??
I am currently in loan rehabilitation with DCS on a loan originally from Great Lakes. My account advisor has told me that after 6 payments I will be eligible for financial aid again. I have since made this payment and have faxed him a letter stating my intention to return to school. My question is how long before my financial aid is released? My advisor has said 15-45 days but I am already registered for classes, they start April 13, and have filled out my fasfa for 2008-2009 and 2009-2010. Has anyone else gone back after the 6th payment? Any information would be great!!

Yeah Great Lakes is notorious for being disorganized with faxes.
Yeah Great Lakes is notorious for being disorganized with faxes. I faxed them 6 times with proof of enrollment so I would get put on deferrment but nobody ever received them. Eventually my loan defaulted and I had to rehab them.
Call them and find out, Great Lakes is very helpful on the phone
