Made 9 payments towards rehab, now what?
Hi,
I just made my ninth and final payment towards rehabing my defaulted student loans. I was therefore surprised to receive a letter from the California Student Aid Commission requesting a new agreement be signed with Premiere Credit at double the payment amount. It also stated that if a new note was not signed, my wages would be garnished immediately. I contacted EdFund and they stated they could not figure out why the garnishment was being pursued as they could see my record of on time payments. I am loathe to call Premiere Credit due to their less than reputable customer service. Are there any other options I can pursue to demand they fulfull their end of our agreement?Â
Thanks,
John

CSAC/Edfund are basically the same people. Right now, they have
CSAC/Edfund are basically the same people. Right now, they have no lenders available for rehab so there is not much you can do but sit patiently, make your payments on time and wait it out.
