My student loan is in default and west asset management has started collecting for the dept of education. How do i deal with the department of ed instead of west asset management.

I had this issue as well and the dept of education will work with you...I had west asset on my butt for the student loan and I paid the dept of education...west asset actually had the audacity to call me up and say I still owed 38 bucks LOL...I told them to get bent since the OC told me I owed nothing.
