Has anyone here successfully used UNDUE HARDSHIP stu loans?
student loans were dischargeable in bankruptcy now however must use "undue hardship" separate filing - has anyone here successfully discharged these?

It is very rare that loans are discharged under hardship. In most courts you have to pass the Brunner Test. Basically it comes down to a lot of factors...how much you owe, your age and your ability in the future to repay.They are not just looking at today....they are looking at your ability over the next 20 years or so.
