BK triggering default of student loans?

Anyone here know if a BK triggers the default of your student loans even if you are still payin them on time/will continue to do so, or if you reaffirm them (even tho there seems to be no need to do so since they are non dis chargeable)?

In my loan docs it states bankruptcy as one of the reasons loans may go into default -and the whole amount becomes due....

Anyone dealt with this?

I called all of the servicers and they all said the same thing - BK would not send them to default, it would put them on BK deferrment and payments would commence at discharge. I have the option of paying while waiting for discharge as to not accrue interest, or not.
Said it does not affect co-signers.

I called each three time on a few different days this week, got different reps who had the same response, so I feel ok with it.
