Discharged because the school closed
I finally got them to discharge my loan after a long battle but I made payments the whole time because of the threats to garnish. They took my tax refund, so now what happens? Do I get credit for the money already paid to them or is it a lost cause?
Talk to the guarantor....those payments should all be refunded.
