Administrative wage garnishment effect on future student loans
I recieved a letter for the intent to initiate garnishment, however I have no job and I'm currently a student. The debt is from the Department of Treasury and is not a result of defaulted student loans. I'm wanting to know 2 things.
1) will it show up on credit report? I'm pretty sure from my research that it will not, but I wonder if after some length of time not getting any garnishments will the agency pursue a judgement?
2) Will it have any impact on receiving future student loans?

You should not have any problems getting a student loan.
