If the the loans are out of default, you regain full financial aid eligiblity.

my loans are still in default. but do you think i would have got enough aid to pay for my first semester at least.

You do not qualify for any aid, loans or grants if your loans are in default.

If you are in default, you will get NO financial aid. None. Sorry. You'll have to make arrangements with your lenders and arrange for a payment plan to get your loans out of default, or you will have to pay for all of your new education costs out of pocket. It sucks, but there it is.

I am also student but I am not getting loans.At present I need loan for my studies but I am not getting loans.:(

Have you submitted a FAFSA application?? Talk to your financial aid office.
