Sudent Loan Garnishment
I have a student loan that defaulted and the CA began garnishing last summer. There is now just a small balance left. If I pay the remaining balance outside of the garnishment, will that restore my eligibilty for financial aid. I have been paying my current tuition out of pocket, but that isn't feasible for grad school. Thanks.

Make sure you call the CA to get exactly what you owe. Do not go off the original order...interest continues to accrue.
