I have had two loans. I have defuilted on both. i have paid off one completly and have paid off about 7000 on the other leaving 12000. I have lost my job i only make about 500 babysitting i have no assets and am comlety suported by my parents. My co signer is pissed of the calls is now going to pay it off and sue me for the total amount of the two loans and damages to them... do i really need to pay them for what i have already paid off? how can i even do this when i cant aford an atterny let alone theres and court fees. They have the money to pay off the loan and i have offered to make payments to them. is there anything ican do ? i am afraid of no only the court but also my co signer themselves


What type of loan is this?

Unfortunately your cosignor took on the responsibility if you defaulted on the loan. Have you looked for other work? My suggestion is work something out with the cosignor.....have them settle on the account and you make payments to them....that way both of you dont get sued.

i am actively looking for another job i have stoped going to school so i would be able to work full time and i do everything i can to keep my licences up to date, i am trying to become a RN but since i cant go to class i cant get a better job beucase i cant get training. every chance that comes by to make money i take. i am really afraid they will come after my car then i really wont be able to work and there will be no hope at all. They are asking for a payment that is more then half what i make and my parents cant help me out anymore and they wont take the less amount
