Defauled student loan
I have a student loan thats been in default since 1992.The loan keeps changing collection agencies,every time it does,a new negative report gets placed on my credit file. are they allowed to do this even though the loan is over 18 years old?
If this is a federal loan, the state you live in doesnt matter.
If this is a federal loan, the state you live in doesnt matter. There is no SOL on federal loans....the OC may not be reporting but the CA can report that is has been placed.
Did you borrow in 92 or default in 92?
