Student loan discharge

Can I get my student loan discharged if I am on SSDI?

I don't have money or assets. Hence, I don't think suing and getting a judgemnt against me is a viable solution. But if it happens, can I declare bankruptcy and get the loan discharged?

Student loans are non dischargable in bankruptcy.

Is this a private or federal loan?

With federal loans, there is a permanent disability discharged. However, it is very difficult to qualify for as the standards are way higher than SSDI. If there is any possiblity that you can work in the future, forget it. You basically have to have a terminal disease with one foot in the grave.
