Student loan to pay off CC debt

I have 3k debt on a credit card, ~15k on student loans, and am thinking about going back to school. I am currently unemployed and need a way to continue to pay my bills. Can I take out a student loan early to assist while I wait the 3 months for school to start? What are my options?
