Help, can you tell me how much luck do individuals usually have appealing a wage garnishment? I am dealing with a CA and when they did my financial statement I had $32.00 left over. They demanded $235 or garnishment. I told them there was no way they went down to $225. I offered $100 til I could get another job they said to bad we are going to send out the garnishment paperwork.

Most appeals are successful if your expenses vs income are reasonable. The collector was dumb not to accept it as he looses the $100/month...when an account is sent to garnishment, the house gets the commision.
