Student Loans Coming due and I'm still broke...

Looks like I'm yet another overeducated & underpaid university graduate who can't possibly make the minimum payments for my student loans coming due.
And I live below my means...
How do I start the loan consolidation process?
How do I find reputable consolidation companies?
How do I "shop" the rates? Or does everyone used a fixed interest rate?
What are the "fine print pitfalls" to watch out for?
Any guidance would be great.

What type of loans do you have? Private? Federal? Both? Really
What type of loans do you have? Private? Federal? Both? Really cannot give you much of an answer without knowing what they are.
Also, did you read the sticky at the top of forum with important links? A lot of information is in there.
