garnishment and taxes

is there a way to write my wage garnishments off at tax time??
my garnishment is with Texas Guarantee

If you have a garnishment ( coming out of your checks), that means you are having a debt being paid that way. I don't believe you can write it off at Tax time because it's a debt you owe. There are SOME states that don't have Wage Garnishments ( I mean debt you owe, etc). ALL states have government debts ( IRS money owed, Child Support, etc.) as garnishments. I live in PA. In 'my' state, they don't have wage garnishments..except for Government debts.
