I would like to inquire about Sonic Payday loan

I had a loan out with Sonic that i was unable to pay back in full due to a work contract being expired. Obviously as it has been stated on here multiple times they would not take half. They claim they will do the wage assisgnemt/garnishment but since my loan has been taken out I have swithched companies and they do not have my new employee information. Should I still worry about a wage assignent, update my info with them, or just wait and see if they will allow me to pay it off half now and half later?

Thanks

It appears that Sonic has been doing what they want, when it comes to getting their money back. I would make every effort possible to get their money back to them.

I had taken out a loan with them several times. Each time though, it seemed I had a problem with them. However, I stayed with the company because it was such a hassle to start with a new one.

My last loan defaulted, and they said I could only pay via Western Union. However, during my time of scrouncing up the money, they hit my account 2 more times...makign me go NSF. Clearly my fault, but still what they say isn't what they do.

From my experiernce with them, and paying the remaining balance stretched out over a month, they made no contact with my employer.

Be careful with your dealings with them. They have changed their name a couple of times while I have dealt with them.

And get everything in writing, and only offer a certified mailed money order so you can TRACK your payment!

Mike

I had an issue with them also. I actually only paid the loan amount and maybe $50 over for fees. I did not pay them the full amount they were asking for. But I did this through their Western Union. But even still I probably still owed them $100 for the fees they were asking for. But I have not heard from them since I sent them some money. I guess they figured I wasn't worth their hassle. I know that's bad, but b/c of the hassle they gave me, I figured they would call me about the rest I didn't pay.

Congratulations on getting that loan resolved.

Hopefully, you won't need to go through the hassles of short term loans again.

Be sure to keep that control number handy, or on file somewhere...at least for a good year. You never know what kind of mistakes can happen, and it being turned over to an outside collection agency.
