Payday loan
Hi, I've been getting phone calls off an on for the past year and a half from multiple companies requesting payment for 2 payday loans that I have paid in full and have the letters in proof. One company is SDS Processing and the other is Sandpoint Capitol. In the past I have told these companies that the loans were paid in full and that I had the letters from the company Henderson, Weinstein, Wyatt and Affiliates, Inc. stating "paid in full", I would email a copy of the letters with a read receipt attached then I would hear nothing else for another 3-4 months until a different company would call.
Today I got a call from 2 different companies both at the same time, one at work and one on my cell. The company that called work was called National Fraud Investigation Agency, the initial person I spoke to said I was being with 2 counts of fraud and they were going to the States Attourney today if I didn't work out some payment arrangement with them immediately. I told them that I had already paid the bills and had proof. I was put on hold and transferred to their "investigation unit" where they told me that the company I made the payment to wasn't recognized by either SDS or Sandpoint!!
Meanwhile I received a call on my cell, the message said it was "?? Check Systems" and they were calling to report fraudulent activity on my checking account. I called them back and they turned out to be a another company looking for payment on the same accounts.
What do i do? In the past is was annoying but I put up with the phone calls, no one seemed to give me that much trouble when I told them the bills were paid but now things are getting scary.
Both SDS and Sandpoint are
Both SDS and Sandpoint are scamming bottomfeeders. Ignore the calls/block the number and tell people at work/your supervisor to do the same. Once you do all of that, file complaints with the county cops, the FTC, the AG and the CFPB.
