Payments to Collection Agency

I have a bill that is in Collection with an Agency and they state that the only way they can accept payment is if they take my bank account information and automatically withdraw the payment.
Is this true? Can I send payments to the collection agency?
If I'm in a program but can no longer afford the payments, can I change the payment amount that we originally agreed upon?

Most CA's will pressure to get payment over the phone. However,
Most CA's will pressure to get payment over the phone. However, it is up to YOU how you will pay. If you wish to send a money order, tell them that is how you will pay.
