HARP while trying to settle
I asked a bankruptcy atty online if I could apply for the HARP while my credit was bad. He said that I should apply right away.
Can you offer any advice on what to expect when they see I'm behind on 4 credit cards.
Thanks,

Well, all they'll see is
Well, all they'll see is whether or not your your debt-to-income ratio happens to be 31 percent or lower. So your being behind on 4 credit cards literally helps you qualify for HARP.
Look for a mortgage board
Look for a mortgage board where people are discussing this option. Havent seen anything about it here.
