Paying a collection account doesnt remove it from your credit report.
Who is reporting?? If it was placed into collections, they have permissable purpose to report.

It will be there on your credit report for 7 years. You may request the creditor to remove the trade line from your credit report. However, he/she is not compelled to do so.

You're not going to find it erased from your credit report just like that. Wait till your credit score improves, but you have to act more responsibly next time around.

Negative items don't get removed from your credit report just like that. Only time can do it. However, you need to work hard for improving your credit score.
