New Beginnings Debt Settlement llc - Need info about this company

I was told that New Beginnings Debt Settlement was trustworthy and effective debt settlement organization to deal with. Could anyone please deny or confirm this rumor. Do they only deal with one account at a time?

Thanks y'all

bless you

I would need help. Can I file a claim against New Beginnings in a small court? Since they did not settle my debt, why would they charge me so much in fees? I felt I pissed all of my hard earned money away to these rotten scoundrels!!! And I am in even deeper debt than before! No wonder this country is going to dogs!!!!

I just checked them out was thinking about going with them , they are at a D+ now so it sounds like maybe things might be going down hill for them, only speculation.

Don't do it, they take your money for months and do nothing for you. They tell you want you want to hear, this is just another company trying to scam your money..They never follow up with the multiple messages that you leave for them, also they never contacted any of your creditors as they initially promised, I should know, I contacted several creditors to see if new Beginnings had contacted them and their answers were absolutely not.

Oh, just to confirm, I had several lawsuits file already that will cost you another $300.00+ in court fees to file that new Beginnings will tell you to pay on top of their monthly fees. This company is a joke. You're better off negotiating with the credit card company on your own, I just did and got a substantial savings by negotiating my debt with the credit card company..approx. 60% savings..

I just checked on BBB and they do NOT have a rating for it-it says NR so I do not know where the person that said it had an A rating came from.

I couldn't recall what they told me. They said they will do something like that so it will delay it for 2 years. I won't need to go to court. Then, they will work something out quickly if they sue.

I think you are being misled NB does not handle eny legal matters & will not do anything for you at court.
Also, New beginnigs LLC is lying about contacting my creditors. I spoke to my creditors & they said New Beginnings never contacted them. When I called New Beginnings nobody knows anyhting there.

Debt settlement companies DO have advantage in settling your debt for you instead of you trying to negotiate it yourself. They negotiate accounts "in bulk" and for this reason are able to negotiate for a lower amount. Creditors benefit from this as well because it keeps THEIR costs down. Pursuing a lawsuit is very costly for the credit card companies, and unless it is a really big amount they most likely are not going to do this, although you never know.

WARNING--New Beginnings Debt Settlement is NOT a BBB accredited company, regardless of what people on this page are saying. It's easy to check--go to BBB.org and search "New Beginnings Debt Settlement." Not ONLY are they NOT accredited, they have a D+ rating by the BBB and over 40 client complaints in the past few years. New Beginnings is NOT represented by a law firm and therefore offers no legal representation...which means even after you've paid them their "fees," they can drop you like a hot potato if the credit card companies are unwilling to negotiate your debts with them.

You'd be better off using a law firm-backed company with an A+ BBB rating. xxxxxxxx is one such company; they have offices in all 50 states and you'd be represented in debt negotiations by an attorney local to you.

I just found the same with Provanta. They had an "A" or an "A-" rating when I joined them, but now are listed as "NR" but still accredited. What's up with this?!

Well, I just signed an agreement with New Beginnings this evening and now your all scaring me. I just suffered a major hardship in my life. I have 4 credit cards totaling 25.000. I am newley divorced. I have multiple sclerosis. I have two teenage daughters to raise for the most part on my own. All I have is social securlity disabillity and childsupport that will not last forever. I almost filed for bankruptsy. I was very much afraid of debt settlement, but I finally went for it because I am desperate. I can't do this alone. Nor could I change my own oil or plugs in my car. I don't know If I'll be able to afford to higher anyone to do that now, but you better believe you won't catch me trying to do that on my own, hence I wouldn't know the first thing about settleing my own debt either. I am hoping they will help me. Once the contract is signed there is no turning back anyway right? Some of you sound so smart in handling your own debt settlement, maybe you could help someone as down and out and on the verge of a total emotional break with your expertise.

They are affiliated with 2 attorney networks. If you all them they can tell you more. Like most good debt settlement companies they offer several solutions depending on your situation. But educate yourself first and make sure you know what you are signing up for.

I have been with New Begginings since April 2010. Since that time, I have had any correspondence from them regarding my debt settlement besides monthly statements from Global Client solutions LLC about how much money they have deposited in my account. My debt is not as the result of bad money management but employer cutbacks and no cost of living raise in the past three years. Trying to manage the mortgage, insurance and other household responsibilities have become trying and so Yes I was desperate and the deal sounded nice. So I go for the okey doke and now I am still broke... WTF??
I have currently been receiving calls from attorneys that represent my creditors and my accounts are in judgement. So I try to contact them (new beginnings) once again and threaten to close my account and stop the payments. Well, guess what? I a get a call back immediately... so this has me thinking.. five months and no correspondence until I make a threat??
I contact the Better Business Bureau and find that this company is NOT a member as it was previously stated and guess what?? there is no rating or information from BBB about the company even being in existence. So now I am pissed. New Beginnings has over 1800 dollars of my money, my credit is shot, and I have judgements and lawsuits against me.
I didnt read any of the previous posts, because no one at this point can influence me to believe this is a reputable company. Now what do I do? Contact a lawyer and shell out even more money to get a refund and then attempt to rectify my credit?? Im exhausted, confused and need help bad.
So what ever you do...DO NOT USE NEW BEGINNNINGS OR GLOBAL CLIENT SOLUTIONS OR THIS CAN BE YOU IN THREE OR FOUR MONTHS....
Thanks for reading my story... will keep you posted.
