:rolleyes:I have been getting calls from and "UNKNOWN" last week i answered and gave the person my info for my bankruptcy atty and told her she needs to stop calling me now and she said "i'm gonna keep calling you til you pay your damn bill" nice right? umm douchebag i'm filing bankruptcy thank you very much....then tonite another woman SHANNON did the same thing..i give her my lawyers info again and tell her to call him..she said she needs my case number which i haven't been given one yet...it's still at the beginning stage..she said well i'm gonna call til you do...i said no you're not you will call him or i will sue your ass...i just spoke to her "manager" yea right...he is removing my info

Actually, no, in this case, they cannot continue calling. The FDCPA specifically states that a debt collector CANNOT CONTINUE CALLING YOU once you notify them that you are represented by an attorney--they MUST contact the attorney, not continue calling you.
