Harrassment at my work place

can these people call and ask about my employment. It seems as what I am reading it is illegal to call my work place.

Who is "these people"? Do you owe a debt? If so, why is calling you at work asking you to pay harassment? Do you call them from home?
It is NOT illegal for a collection agency to call you at work. The FDCPA states you may request no more work calls. If you do not specifically tell them this, they can continue to call.
