Debt Settlement

After much soul searching I have finally dedided to sign up with a Consolidation Company. I went with Care One ( they seemed to have the best record). I did try to contact the company and they would not budge. I'm waiting for the welcome package. They have advised me not to answer calls . My mail worry is that they will file suit against me and garnish my wages. Is there anyone out there that has gone thru this process and it actually turned out ok. thanks for your input I really appriciate it. Kathy

Most of the success stories coming out of debt consolidation programs are usually because of the nature of the creditors. Some creditors are easy to deal with and will agree to settle quick, other would rather sue you for the full amount plus interest than settle for less.
So basically it would all depend on the creditors and accounts you listed with Care One. There is always a chance of getting sued but if you wish to continue with the program, you will just have to trust them.
