I have recieved a automated phone call that have left many messages and when i do finally call back they say they have an affidavit for a settlement to pay 887.55 to edollars. I have been con'ed before and I'm wondering if these people are legit?? the real deal?? what do i do??

An affidavit for a settlement? I never heard that before. It sounds like they are trying to make it sound all official and legal to intimidate you into a payment. You should check your local courthouse to make sure they didn't sneak a default judgement in against you just to be on the safe side.
The next time you speak to them tell them to send you everything in writing so you can respond accordingly. Leave it at that...refuse to discuss it at all until you see something in writing.
