So I wrote to FIA and they never responded. I then wrote to all 3 bureaus and Transunion Deleted it from my report but Experian and Equifax came back as "updated". I then wrote to another address those 2 bureaus gave me and still no response. So I in turn wrote again to Experian and Equifax and again they came back as "updated". I called Experian and they said that they "electronically" verify with FIA and if FIA shows as it still be open then they won't remove. So they aren't actually getting proof its my account. What should I do? I've written to FIA with no luck, do I open a can of worms and call them? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Unless you can squeeze out a written reply from FIA (after you have called of course), it will be pretty hard to dispute the account with the CRAs.
