It is a debt settlement company with many complaints. I have heard that after taking money from your checking account, they do not even bother to take your calls.

They have a b+ rating with the BBB. Novice do you know someone that experienced that? I know there are a couple of DRA's in Florida.

I work for DRA. b+ rating with the BBB,members of TASC. Zero complaints so far. Novice is either a liar or works for another company! perhaps you might have the wrong company in mind?i'm sure there might be another company with the same name. But no complaints here.sorry to spoil the party.
How long has DRA been around Ozzie? we are seraching companies.

I am not familiar with that company. I suggest you ask them if they have licensed attorneys in your home state who will oversee your account. You want to make sure that they are familiar with your state laws, that your case will be handled properly and you will get the most benefit from the program. Having licensed attorneys who have many years of schooling and a state license oversee your case is far better then not. You should also ask if your money will be going towards paying your debts from day one and not just towards paying their fees.
As an additional note, I've seen a lot said about having a Better Busines Bureau rating and TASC membership. The one thing to keep in mind is that these are paid memberships. Similar to paid advertising. It is not a guarantee that the company is a good
choice.

If things don't turn around soon, I will be taking legal action
If things don't turn around soon, I will be taking legal action against this "business." In October 2010 I lost my job, so contacted DRA for help with a credit card balance of approximately $5,000. Everything seemed legit (although how does one ever know for sure?), but as of today (February 2011), the credit card company is still calling me every single hour, every single day. I was instructed by DRA not to talk with them. DRA is stealing money from my checking account every month, but I'm not receiving any action in return. All I've managed to gain is less money in my checking account every month, a credit card balance that has gone from $5,000 to almost $7,000 and, I'm sure, a shitty credit standing. Oh, and the credit card company sent me a letter stating legal action will begin against me by their attorney if I do not contact them by the end of this month. I'm going through a lot of negative personal stuff right now, including unemployment, so their stealing money from me, ruining my credit standing, and raising my credit card balance is making me angry beyond words.
Dra
I am going through the same thing with DRA, they have been taking my money since 9/10 and nothing has been accomplished with my creditors. I decided to cancel my contract with DRA and deal with the creditors myself, better results, and DRA is refusing to return my call or my money they took.
answer
I have went through DRA. The calls do continue and letters do come in the mail. Be patient. It took months for all the calls to stop, and if they don't, call DRA and they will respond to them with a Cease and Desist. As for the letters, you should be faxing them to DRA. They will deal with the letters (even the ones delivered by your local authorities, if it gets to that point) My only advice to you would be to pay attention to when you've paid them in full for the services. Settle before then.
