Calling relatives and lying about what the call is about.

Maureen from ALLIED INTERSTATE called my uncle in another state and told him she was calling for a job reference and needed my new phone number to contact me. My uncle isn't that gullible. He texted me and asked about it. I called him, got the womans name and number, blocked my phone number and called them. She asked me my name and i gave it. I asked her what job this was for as it had been a while since i had filled out any applications. She asked me to verify my social security number. Thats when i got pissy. I asked "Is this for a job or are you a bill collector?" No response just a bunch of stuttering. I asked again "Is this for a job or are you a bill collector? If you do not respond I will contact the Attorney General in my state and file an official complaint." She again stuttered and said no this isn't for a job." I told her to not contact my relatives again or myself in any manner shape or form. I haven't received any written correspondance from this company at all.
They did not disclose the debt...that would be a violation. Wha
