Got a letter from collection agency to me and my bank requesting my banking account info. Can they dothat? Can the;y get money out of my account?

Is it a court ordered levy? If so, then your bank will comply and turn over your money to the collection agency.

if it was a court ordered levy they would have the info and not be requesting it.sounds like a bottomfeeder.who is the CA op?

I would have thought the same thing, but the OP said the letter was sent to the bank also...
