Vote for Steve Barris to DebtCC Hall of Fame
Steve Barris has completed 1000+ posts in Debt Consolidation Care forum and has become eligible for Hall of Fame. So we are starting a poll for him. We request our community members to cast their vote by making a YES or NO post.
He will join DebtCC Hall of Fame, once he gets 10 'yes' votes.

I moved this to the mod forum...this guy is a MORON!!!! He gives out wrong and bad information....we cannot acknowledge the crap he generally posts.

No...it is not harsh. His answers are often wrong, incomplete or simply dont answer the question asked. Another english second language poster. I cannot cannot count the number of times I have had to correct his information....and he does not respond to PM's correcting his errors. I am just totally against giving him ANY accredidation or awards from this site.

I have done as you requested we do in situations like this--publicly post the correct info. I have asked Steve numerous times, publicly and privately, to stop posting blatantly false information. To date, I have not gotten a single response from him....but I do see that he continues to post the same bad information that many of us have already corrected a dozen times in his earlier posts. The Hall of Fame is supposed to be for members who have been significant contributors to the issues we discuss here....and this guy is not at all a significant contributor. What does it say about this site as a whole when someone who routinely ignores moderator requests and routinely insists on posting false information would be placed in the "Hall of Fame"??

Permit me to say this, but I have never seen someone rejected from the HOF before--and I have been registered with this forum since 2006. Can we go over once again the guidelines for the HOF--and more importantly, who decides on the quality of information generated?

The purpose of Hall of Fame Club is to honor those individuals who provide helpful support to people when they're in financial problems. It is recognition of the social service they provide in helping others. Moreover, every time a member posts a query in the forum, there are several others who actually benefit from reading the posts.
The DebtCC Hall of Fame Club is a step towards honoring and rewarding our community members for their valuable services. We are proud of our community and hope to come up with further rewards and recognition from time to time.
How can you honor someone who does not contribute with quality answers?? He posts a quantity of garbage.
