I got a call today from GFSIL

The collections department called threatening me to pay or else they would send an investagation team to my work and to my supervisor and start garnishing my wages. I told them that they were in violation of Florida laws and that my "Lawyer" ( I do not have) said so. He said why you call lawyer this is a matter between you and our company.... I said because I felt I needed advise on how to deal with them.... he said no we are operating in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom and the laws of the united states do not matter! I said well my lawyer advised me differently and again he said why you contact a lawyer. I asked him to provide me an alternate means of paying them and he said we have no address to send money to. I said well if you have no address then I guess you will have to send your investagator so he can give me an address he said no you will have to ask a friend or relative to give us their account number so we can get the money from there account. I said you must be crazy they would be fools to allow you access to there accounts! Again I told them my lawyer said to get an alternate means of payment and finally he said well I will give you an address but that does not mean we will except your money order! So he gave me an address in Reno Nevada and a FAX Number to send them a copy of the money order as verification of payment! How funny when I threaten them with a lawyer all of a sudden they have an address! Anyone else have simular experience?

Also I had put a stop payment against another company and they changed the ID number an put my account 380.00 over drawen!!!! BAST***s..... I asked my credit union to freeze my account and the told me they could not do that.... as long as my account is over drawen! We went around about why they even allowed my account to go overdrawen to begin with! Anyother bank in the area would have closed the account by now! This is just one viscious circle that I don't think I will ever get out of. I have finally just taken all my money out of this bank and have it going to another account in another bank so atleast I will have a pay check to start paying something back. I have been with out a paycheck for almost 3 months! Because of the account going overdrawen between every payday. This time it will not even go into the good! I just don't know where to turn... And as long as the account is over drawn they will not give me a signature loan to help me bring it to the good to close the account. I COULD SCREAM!!!!!!

GFSIL is no one else but Cash Today. They are doing out of the state business not registered anywhere in the US. Use maximum caution because they are trying to rip off people whenever they get a chance. Don't let them go over you and make you feel intimidated. Your state offers the legal protection when dealing with companies not licensed in your state. Post your complaints at the AG's office when you figure out your rights being violated. Don't send your money using the checking account information because they will misuse it in every possible way. There are hard experiences of the people going through this. Read some others with their experiences on GFSIL / Cash Today Ltd.

What was your original loan amount and how much have you paid back? I took out a $200 loan with Interim Cash Ltd., which is the same company as Cash Today Ltd., and whatever else they call themselves. I have already paid back $632 on the $200 loan, so they've more than been paid back and are getting no more from me.

They will threaten you will all kinds of BS, don't fall for it. They did not provide a Truth in Lending Disclosure, nor any other type of paperwork for that matter, their loans are illegal, whether it be in the US or UK. I lived in the UK for almost 6 years and know that disclosures have to be provided for loans there as well.

They can't prove that you took the loan with them if they have no documentation. Their recordings will not hold up and I'd like to see them produce the recording. Don't worry.....you can handle this. Don't let their scare tactics and bullying push you into giving them your money.

You are wise to get a new bank account. I have been in your position with being overdrawn and the bank has no sympathy. As long as they get their ridiculous overdraft fees paid, they could care less what's happening with your account.
