Payday problem

am living in Ohio and have 4 payday loans with the following
1. Checksmart 912.50
2. National Check Cashers 912.50
3. Quick Cash 912.50
4. Cashland 912.50

I have been dealing with these companies for over two years and now I wish to consolidate them. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this. I have closed my account because 5/3 told me to do so. I am feeling very worried. Are there any consolidation companies who deal with the storefront pdl's. I would appreciate any advice. Please help.

Jeff.

Have you spoken to the pdl as yet?? Closing your bank account on a store front can be a bad thing if they don't know in advance. They are usually following state laws and can take you to court if not handled properly. I would suggest you contact them immediately and try to make some type of arrangements with them. The only 2 companies I have heard of on here are Langhorne and T & C...both work with pdls. If you google the names in the search box you can read what others have to say about them. Good luck and keep us posted...

Please, Nina, you are not helping. It is fairly easy to check things out before you post, so there is no reason to post blantanly incorrect info unless you are trying to mess people up.

You will find the Payday loan laws for Ohio here (just select your state),

The maximum loan amount is $800, which fits with what the OP is saying.

These are storefronts, so you need to tread very carefully. I know that Checksmart likes to take people to this bad check court Ohio has. So be sure to keep up communication with all your storefronts.

There are companies that consolidate these loans. T&C is one of them. But please do a search for checksmart on this site. There have been several people with T&C and checksmart still took them to the bad check court. Checksmart wasn't even cashing the payments T&C sent them.

These are all store front? And you're in Ohio? I'm posting Ohio state pdl law for you to see. The only thing that concerns me is the criminal action says "not specified". That could mean something ugly if you closed out your account while having checks out at these store fronts. I'm not positive, but I don't like it when it states "not specified". I would, if I were you, call each store front. Tell them your bank & you had issues and your bank closed your account. Tell them you wish to make payments arrangements to them to pay them in full. However, do not agree to any amount that you can not afford. Once you make a payment agreement, stick with it, so make sure it's reasonable. But, please, contact them. Tell them 5/3 closed your account and you need to make payments. Please contact them though because the law isn't too clear regarding criminal action.
