Hello, so when I was faced with an emergency situation last June, I was forced to take out a PDL. This loan, embarrassingly, turned into 7. I feel like there is no end to this and am now sacrificing my entire paycheck to pay just the interest on these. Is there anything I can do?


I was in the same situation about 2 years ago. You can pull yourself out of it. List the name of your payday lenders. This forum helped me a great deal. Also list your state.

Yes, first of all, stop worrying. You are saying that you have 7 pdls now. Are all of these legal? If not, then for illegal loans, you just have to pay the principal amount.
Now, in case of legal loans, you can take professional help to come out of the debt trap. You can talk to a settlement company to help you solve your debt problems. Your credit score will suffer a bit but once are free of debt, you can manage your finances in a way to increase your score.

Give us the names of the payday loan companies. We can dig in and tell you if you have legal payday loan companies or illegal payday loan companies. What state are you in by the way? Give us the name of the state. Another point, in case of a CFSO member, you can try for a Extended Payment Plan. Stay away from payday loans in future.
