Janie- can you tell us if these are internet or storefrint loans, and what state you are in? If these are internet loans, chances are they are illegal in your state. There are some companies that do consolidate pay day loans, some do not. Give us a little more info, and we can point you in the right direction.Good Luck..KAren :D

I can't put enough emphasis on closing your existing bank account. It is the ONLY thing that saved my butt with the ipdls.
Please check with your state laws before you close your account.

Some states allow for prosecution for closed accounts. You need to check first.
bank account
As goudah keeps telling people, we can not advise people to close their bank account without getting all the facts. Some people might have store front pdl's included, which are normally licensed/legal. Some people live in states where criminal action is permitted. Until we get all the information, we can not advise that. Some pld's might be licensed in their state. We don't know until we know what state they are in, what the state law is, who the pdl's are, etc.... Sometimes people have issues with closing their bank account. The bank account issue should be on an individual basis, not as a whole. Everyone's situation is different. Without knowing all the facts, we can not advise to just close the account. This may cause more trouble than the pdl's themselves.

We have $2900 in store front pay day loans and live in Mississippi. Would it be legal to close our account and work with a consolidation company?
