slimey calls from 209-555-1214 and Ameriloan issue


I really hate these India lowlife scammer phone calls. They had given up for awhile, but this morning "David Cooper" with "PCS" left me a long, mean threatening message and then called my friend/co worker who I stupidly put a reference on one of those applications. I feel like they are extra bullyish to me b/c I'm female - The whole situation is so embarrassing- even though I know they are scammers it upsets me every time they call. It does no good to report them to anyone because they can't catch them. My AG office requires that you contact a business via certified mail before you file a complaint... Impossible because they give no address.
On another issue --Ameriloan and Star Cash will not stop calling me at work. I've sent all the letters, over and over. I started this process with AML, Star Cash and Kenwood in August and still have no Paid in Full letters, much less a refund.
I'm so frustrated with myself for getting into this situation...
I suppose I'm looking for some words of encouragement from those of you who have been here before... :(


since they are calling your job.just hang up without a word/let your boss and co-workers know this is a scam calling,and have them hang up too.there is nothing as far as i know that states you are required to speak to these losers.that's what i did and trust me it helps.now as for the AG what state are you in?just curious as that proviso is weird.

I live in Mississippi. There is a PDF form on their website- they want you to send the business a return receipt letter and then give them 10 days to reply before you file the complaint...
I have filed complaints with the FTC on the other payday loans...from reading other people's experiences it seems that it does no good to report to the BBB...

i still would not talk to either place at work,or home.btw file as many FTC complaints as you can as they will act eventually.i feel for yaz.my state IL requires complaints be mailed in.they do act,but since complaints are at an all time high it takes time and patience.just know both star and ameriloan are illegal and again you are not required to talk to them.
